- Assessment of the route network in terms of: current state, service life, costs for reconstruction and repairs with respect to geotechnical aspects
- Research of existing documents for earthwork structures and for previous reconstruction and repairs
- Interview with depot manager and railway officer
- Analysis of existing geoinformation
- Inspection of railway lines most important for the economy
